Introduction

The AircraftScheduling program is designed to allow the scheduling of aircraft and the operation of an FBO or flying club. The program is used to schedule aircraft and if the administrator chooses to enable the aircraft checkin and checkout procedures, the program is used to control access to the aircraft using modifiable rules. The program maintains a database of members along with currency information to determine if a particular member is allowed to check out a particular aircraft.

The administrator's (or a trusted person) only responsibility is to maintain the member list and the currency dates for those members. The program performs the complex calculations to determine if a person is still current according to the FARs and any local flying rules.
