Due to airfield construction we are currently in the process of relocating our aircraft to Huntsville International Airport (Signature) and all of our aircraft should be moved by End Of Day today November 2, 2011. If you are schedule to fly today and are unsure on where your aircraft is you can contact Derek Romine 256-652-1562. We should be staying there for approximately 2 to 3 months. Most of you know the routine as we have done this numerous times in the past for one reason or another. For those of you that have experienced this I will explain briefly. Signature has a computer where you will be able to check out the aircraft. Once the aircraft is checked out, you will leave a copy of the flight plan with the desk personnel. They in return will give you the key to the aircraft. When you return, check the aircraft back in and give the keys back to the desk personnel. Fueling of the aircraft will be done by Signature and fueling procedures will remain the same such as topping off the aircraft upon returning except for the 152’s.

All privately owned aircraft based at Redstone will need to move also, only if you are planning on flying in the next couple of months. If you move you aircraft to Signature you will be paying for the fuel yourself. Please do not use the RAFA data base for fuel purchased at Signature.
